Canada names players for WRC; Masters tournament cancelled

Loïc Roberge and Grant Mahoney have been named by the Canadian Council as Canada’s representatives to the WRC this summer.

The JPML Mahjong Masters Tournament that we reported on last week has been cancelled as part of the voluntary national efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak in Japan.

As noted in their post, the WRC is going to look for another opportunity to qualify those seats.
